The boat is a 23 foot Key West Bay Reef Center Console model from 2022. It provides dual live wells for holding bait and fish, power poles, and a wireless trolling motor. This model is noted for being a very stable and safe boat.
The boat is made from high quality, modern composite materials This lack of wood eliminates threat of rot and promotes great durability.
Key West boats are renown for being stable even in rough conditions. They use Positive Level and Upright Floatation technology to create a stable and enjoyable vessel.
The boat passes all United States Coast Guard (USCG) requirements.
The boat is manufactured in Ridgeville, South Carolina.
Four hour trip along the back country and shallow waters of Port Charlotte. Departs at approximately 8AM and return around noon.
$550. (Up to 3 anglers.) Add $75 per person over 3 people.
Six hour trip along the channels and grass flats of Port Charlotte. Departs approximately 8AM and return around 2 PM.

Eight hour trip along the channels and bay. Depart at approximately 8 AM and return around 4 PM.

Full day trip to Boca Grand Pass to catch Tarpon, one of the most challenging fish to land. Departs approximately 7 AM and returns around 4 PM.

Six hour ecology tours visit area locales in search of marine life and sea birds. Seasonal migrations determine what is available. Strongly encourage bringing a camera!

Kids are always welcome! Captain Bill loves to pass on his love of the water to younger generations. We recommend booking the Minnow Fishing charter because it is on the calmest waters and offers the greatest opportunity for easy catches.
Kids are not allowed on the Grand Tarpon charter for safety reasons.
All children 6 and under must wear an approved safety floatation vest at all times.
The waters of Port Charlotte are home to many different breeds of fish. The most commonly caught are snook, red fish, jacks, cobia, trout, and snappers, but you never know what will hook your line! If you're interested in fishing for a specific type of fish talk with Captain Bill for his recommendations.
Yes! Captain Bill loves to trade stories with fellow veterans and servicemembers. The $25 discount applies to all charters.
Yes! You can keep the fish you catch. Captain Bill will clean and gut the fish at the end of your tour. Be sure to bring a cooler to take your catch home in.
No! Water and weather conditions may not make the fish suitable for eating. Some fish species are protected by state, federal, and international laws requiring that they be released back into the water.

Captain Bill will arrange a meeting spot when you book your charter. The most commonly used sites are:

Yes! You can bring your own adult beverages to enjoy during your charter. Only individuals who meet the legal age of 21 may consume alcoholic beverages. Passengers are expected to drink responsibly.
An additional charge for cleaning the boat may be issued if a passenger vomits on the boat because of intoxication. Captain Bill has the final say in determining if the incident was caused by sea sickness or passenger behavior. The cleaning fee is $150.
If a passenger overindulges and becomes a safety risk, Captain Bill may end the charter early. No refund would be offered.
Sea sickness is common and sometimes unavoidable. Captain Bill recommends you bring medication to prevent and treat seasickness. He is unable to provide passengers with any medication during the trip.
If you need to end your charter earlier than planned Captain Bill will make every effort to get you to shore as quickly and safely as possible. A partial refund may be offered at Captain Bill's discretion.

A deposit of $100 is due at the time of booking. Full balance must be paid prior to departing the dock. Get Some Charters accepts payment through PayPal, cash app, venmo and Zell.
Charters must be canceled at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure. A partial refund of your trip cost may be refunded.
Captain Bill monitors weather and water conditions to ensure you'll have the best trip possible. He maintains his boat at top performance levels so you'll have a safe trip. If he determines that the weather/water conditions or boat are not safe, he will cancel your tour and provide a full refund.
Safe, respectful behavior and obeying the laws are required. Captain Bill reserves the right to terminate an in-progress charter if the passengers become a danger to themselves or others. No refund will be offered.
